Pastor Jesús Figueroa was born in the city of Tijuana, B.C. Mexico in 1972 and at the age of 4 came to the United States, where in his teens he came to know the gospel through the ministry of Victory Outreach International. It was at the age of 13 in February 1986 that at Victory Outreach La Puente Church under the pastoring of Victory Outreach International Pastor/Founder, Sonny Arguinzoni accepted Jesus Christ as personal Savior.
God's Call was evident in his life, for at the age of 15 he began to preach the gospel. This period of his youth was a preparation for God's future ministry. During this time he served under several pastors of the Hispanic ministry of Victory Outreach, helping and assisting in various ministries of the local church. It was in October 1994 that together with his wife Silvia Figueroa they took the call to pastor the church Alcance Victoria East Los Angeles Hispanic Church in Los Angeles and they have been pastoring ever since.
From a humble beginning with a small and faithful congregation began to develop and grow to what it is today, a congregation with more than 700 members. The work not only grew but soon began sending churches to other cities with the vision of achieving hidden treasures. Planting churches such as Brooklyn, Mexico, North Las Vegas, and South Chicago. Today Pastors Jesus and Silvia Figueroa serve the Lord with their four sons Jesse, Mathew, Joseph, and Timothy. Pastoring not only the congregation of Alcance Victoria E.L.A., but assisting and supporting Pastors Sonny and Julie Arguinzoni in leading the vision of achieving the treasures of darkness through Victory Outreach International.
